About The Project

This project is all about to manage an inter school competition.A user can register for the events as a student, teacher or parent. A user can either register on the website which is online mode or on the venue by the admin which is called offline mode. A user can visit to the website and go to Register under Event tab. A user has to give basic details like name, school, phone number, email, type etc. There a validation done to check by email id and phone number given. An email id and phone number for a scratch card is valid for one day. He/she cannot register again for the same day event with email id and phone number again, but for the other day event by the scratch card. After a successful registration a mail with the details of the event with the registration number will be sent to the user. Also a sms will be sent to the phone number given, which they can carry to the venue mentioned. Its delivery model is naturally designed to be flexible enough to incorporate grand-scale delivery economics that encourages maximum client interaction during development.

There is a gallery page showing photographs of the event with sliding effect. There is a contact us page, by which a user will be required to fill basic details and ask query to the organizing committee. There is an option to take photo of the user by a laptop webcam at the venue. An admin can view the list of users who have scheduled a call and change the status from pending to completed. An admin can view the number of users who have registered with some details. An admin has the option to edit the user details. Admin can take print of the users list in pdf format. Also, there is also an option to export users list into csv format.

jQuery is a fast, small, and feature-rich JavaScript library. It makes things like HTML document traversal and manipulation, event handling, animation, and Ajax much simpler with an easy-to-use API that works across a multitude of browsers. In this project jquery is used for validation, for accordion effects, image gallery and web cam access and more..

PHP libraries have been used in this project for functionalities like mailing , CSV and PDF creation. Also messaging API is used to send messages to the users.
